Rage Painting

This project is inspired by the viral video showing ‘Just Stop Oil’ activists throwing tomato sauce on the famous Van Gogh painting. However, this adaptation is not solely about first-person shooting tomato-related ‘bullets’ on paintings. This game contains the game designer’s satire, which personifies each selected painting and grants them ability to fight against this naïve and destructive behaviour. 

The personification is unique to each painting. For example, the look of each painting figure is customised to either look like the painter or match with the main colour tone. The way of attack is designed to be diverse and related to the content of the painting.
